Yes, and the list that other user posted also uses a different formula. Plus, as far as I am aware, they are not completely official, don't count all countries and are basically estimations.

And without sounding like a conspiracist, they are kinda known to inflate some artist's numbers while understimate the others.  They apparently always did this to Gaga. 

But the plaque saying 7M is an official source so it proves the fact that ASIB sold 7M.
