Irrelevant 20,272 Posted June 20, 2017 Share Posted June 20, 2017 The Fame Monster (Open with warning ) Spoiler 5.5/10 Spoiler Opinion: This EP is very iconic, but it's mainly the performances/visuals that I'm hooked on, ESPECIALLY TMB 2.0.  However sonically, it's my least fav, #sorrynotsorry. The highlights on this album are Bad Romance, Speechless and Dance In The Dark. These songs are probably the most overrated but they're the only ones I would replay for an hour. So Happy I Could Die and Teeth are also good songs, but they don't make me wanna play them. Telephone is a bop, but it's a really random addition to the album IMO. I personally just dislike Alejandro because I don't like it sonically, and Monster is a Capital M.E.S.S. It sounds like a The Fame reject remixed with dark production and the he ate my heart line. P.S. Retro Dance Freak is a bop but pure filler. After checking out some of Katy Perry's music I decided to give Taylor Swift a chance. I started with her fourth album Red. I have to say that I wasn't disappointed. The songs are very well written and the production is amazing. Also, I was surprised how much more I enjoyed her country and rock songs than the music she did with Max Martin. Sadily its not as good as Days Are Gone but has some great fun songs. They could of dealt a little deep with the lyrics which were a little generic at times.
