Guest
I think trans people know their bodies is not the sex they wished to be tho? I mean they are a very small portion of the population so as a very famous person I dont understand the need to tweet that at all
Infinity Wave 7,617
When people will understand that, as far as freedom of speech and opinion goes, there is actually NO need in expressing opinions which can hurt other people, the world will be a better place. That said, I think what we should learn from history is that we need to separate the artist and his/her art, because - unless the art is political or reflects the artist's political view (so if the art is fictional and has nothing to do with the "real world") - art can still be great even if the artist is a complete douchebag. skaxboy 3,386
So a random transphobic woman says some ignorant garbage. Deals with the consequences of being ignorant by getting terminated. Gets told by a judge that itâs ok to lose her job over ignorant tweets. Now JK Rowling says she stands with this ignorant transphobe.

Harry Potter is extremely political tho? Voldemort is basically Adolf Hitler and don't get me started in discussions about slavery with the elfs. I disagree. While I don't think J.K Rowling has done anything bad enough to warrant never consuming her art again, I do think there's a line that needs to be drawn when an artist does something highly illegal and/or immoral. Art is still a commodity at the end of the day and if the public consumes the art of a convicted pedophile or rapist, for example, society is basically not only saying it's okay but rewarding them financially.
Reginald 13,646
So sad. I hate this so much.
