The show is a camera / phone free experience, so a lot of people aren't really sure what to expect (although there are some pictures, videos and other reviews online). Everything about is just perfect in my opinion. But to be fair, I absolutely adore Madame X (in my top 5 M albums), so I don't mind some classics getting cut for those songs. I definitely think this show needs to be released on DVD so everyone who couldn't go can see the perfection that this tour is. Like after the tour intro and you can hear the piano chords of God Control start, it's an indescribable feeling of emotion. Hearing her vocals live for the first time ever caused me to start bawling uncontrollably. And I Rise she walks down the isles with her dancers as she finishes the song, and fans get the chance to get up close and personal with the queen. She also extends the outro and sings "I will rise..." on repeat for a few minutes. It is such a simple yet powerful ending tbh.. It isn't a video interlude though, it's just her dancers doing a weird (yet beautiful) coordinated dance at the front of the stage, with the projection curtain behind them. The interlude before Batuka was a little bit different both times I went, but there is a video playing with a bunch of different places the album is inspired by (Cape Verde, Medellin, Lisbon, etc) and the dancers walk across the stage carrying a coffin on their shoulders. Bitch I'm Madonna Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

She even does a handstand - basically the splits upside down. Her voice was also great, very strong. The closing part was extremely emotional and epic.
