Economy 43,993 Posted December 10, 2019 Share Posted December 10, 2019 You may skip to 0:40 when it gets really going  Anyway Star Trek Picard which is set near the 25th Century when Picard is nearly 100 years old seems to perhaps be the most action packed star trek series so far  Tho all star trek series to some extent overlap in the same universe and even have re-occuring characters, this 7th Star Trek series is the first time where a new star trek series directly continues the story of the same characters as a past series.  Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

And the season 3 trailer shows them encountering a fallen federation with only a few member planets remaining.This is around the time the temporal war was in swing from Enterprise, so I wonder if they’ll be involved in that. Like @gabeoz said there are some ties to older series like Voyager, Deep Space 9 and of course a lot of the Characters are from The Next Generation given that's where Picard was from  But the story has some kind of continuation from the last Star Trek movie "Star Trek Nemesis" (excluding the modern ones that aren't from the series)  I won't lie Nemesis wasn't my favorite of the movies but I think some of the stuff continues from there  Also none of the modern movies had the Borg and it looks like the Borg will be in this new series Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
