My (kinda sad) Enigma experience

In this case, it sounds like Gaga was just ignoring everyone and her team was told to keep people away. I get that it must have been disappointing, but it doesn't sound like she actually snapped at your or said anything wrong. It would have been kind if she waved, but I don't think she did anything bad by just wanting to be alone in her off time since it wasn't like the stage door at Enigma, etc.

Also, we all have bad days and it kind of sounds like Gaga was affected by the backlash to her tweet. Celebs are human like the rest of us. Sometimes they are friendly, sometimes they are just polite, sometimes they are rude, and sometimes they want to be left alone. I love Cher even more than Gaga, but I've heard stories of her being extremely friendly to people who approach her in public for the most part but also rarely  being a bit snappy (which is worse than ignoring people, imo).

As someone said, idols are just human.

I know and completely agree.

What attitude? That wasn't anything meant to be bad or something, it was just a comment of mine saying I wasn't impressed because I already had this experience, how's that bad? And the Ashanti comment was because I understood that she wasn't having her best moment but she was with Ashanti. You don't need to mind me so much.

See, you did though. "she has time for this, but doesnt have time to say hi to fans" is an attitude. That's not, "oh, she was in a bad mood when I saw her, which was unfortunate. hopefully shes better now and will actually say hi" You had an attitude whether you meant to or not.

Oh my God I thought you were going to say she tweeted “Fame is prison” after she had to say hi or something (imagine that) :rip:

Honestly, I feel bad for you but you shouldn’t take it personally. She was probably drunk or just not in the mood.

We’re all human and just want to be left alone sometimes. It sounds like she was in that state of mind anyway from the tweet.

Hey, I understand how disappointing that can be. I imagined if I was just a few feet away from her, and called her, and she didn't even wave at me or say hi, I would be pretty disappointed as well.

But just yesterday or two days ago at the Jazz & Piano shows, she expressed her frustration at how it is legal for everyone to stalk her, and that she can't even have a normal conversation with people without it being, to quote her, 'unnatural'. Let's just understand that she's a human being with millions of fans across the world, and if you could contribute to her privacy and peaceful social life, that you're doing a good thing.

Sometimes adoration and respect are not shown through actions, but the lack of it.

One more thing— quite a few people said she came across like she was smashed in the casino. It's possible her people didn't want her interacting with fans if she was truly smashed and/or she didn't even hear you. When I'm drunk, someone can be right next to me or talking straight in my face and I don't really register that they are even there....So she might not have been purposefully trying to ignore everyone/be left alone at the casino and was instead in that kind of hazy drunk state where you just don't really register anything that's going on.

But I absolutely get why it might feel a bit disappointing even if she wasn't doing or saying anything wrong.

Edit: Basically, it's possibly they said they would tell Gaga but didn't if she was drunk af. You are a nice person and would never take advantage— but some fans would absolutely take advantage of the situation if they got a photo of her looking really smashed. Back in the ARTPOP days, I remember a few fans actually did that—they posted photos with Gaga when she was clearly out of it on twitter. Their tweets about her being high and the photos were in several US blogs/tabloids.

First off, you paid 3k to see her perform. Not to meet her.
You kind of stalked her (by going to that specific casino because you knew she would be there) and took pictures of her like she was some type zoo animal. Security told you that she would say hi if she wanted to. But instead of leaving her alone you decided to force an interaction and she ignored you.
Just be happy that you got to see her perform.  She is a human and she keeps talking about her frustrations of not being able to do stuff publicly.
I know you’re sad, but you can’t force someone who doesn’t know you to pay attention to you. You are a stranger to her.

Maybe if you'd spend 3K on just going to a show, took a 12h flight and had your idol right in front of you and ignoring you, you'd understand.

3k euros? :spin:

This is very harsh. He's a fan and is allowed to want to meet someone that inspires him.

I paid 3k for the whole trip, other people pay 3k for a meet and greet. I wasn't stalking her because i'm not that kind of fan, i'm always respectful and I have empathy, it's clearly stated on my post. If someone tells you your idol is on the building in the front of you, you wouldn't go? We were at ****ing Ross, in front of The Park.

I see you edited you r comment after I replied. I should tell you now that I saw Engima, spent a ridiculous amount of money, was two feet away from her wanting to meet her, and she didn't stop. It was two in the morning and I understood. This happend in June. I did not come here and post cryptic replies like I was about to spill some boiling hot tea. I nodded, knew she was a human, and went on with my day. You are allowed to be upset. I'm upset with how you handled it. That is all.

I truly have no problem with this post. Its your manner in other posts that has me scratching my head confused. Anyways, I dont agree with how that person spoke to you. You deserve to feel sad, and speak your opinion.

It’s called consent. You can’t meet someone that doesn’t want to meet you back. There’s a time and a place.
Just because you are in the same room as Gaga, doesn’t mean you deserve an interaction with her.
99% of her fans will never get to have a conversation with her and that’s ok.

I wasn't even asking for anything but if she knew we were there, from the other side of the world, a simple waving of her hand would've done my entire life.
