Little Mix have announced that they will front a brand new reality TV series on BBC One in the UK.

Little Mix: The Search will see Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Perrie Edwards aiming to find talented singers to form all-female, all-male, and mixed bands.

The competing groups will live together and be mentored and guided by Little Mix as well as various vocal coaches, songwriters, producers, and stylists.

Little Mix also confirmed that the winning band will be able to join them on their summer tour next year.

The series, seven episodes long, will air Saturdays on BBC One in 2020 and also be available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

"We want to create lots of incredible groups who really gel," Little Mix said. "As we have been there and done it ourselves, we know what it takes to make a group successful and will be there to mentor them every step of the way.

"We want solo artists to audition as well as groups, and every type of genre is welcome, too. It's going to be really exciting, and people can apply right now!"

BBC executive Charlotte Moore said: "One of Britain's most popular all-female bands Little Mix will bring their magic to BBC One on Saturday nights in 2020 in a brand new show set to inspire the next generation of young artists."

Little Mix became the first group to win The X Factor in 2011. They have gone on to earn four number one singles, and have sold more than 50 million records worldwide. The band has also recently been named the richest ever X Factor UK winners.

The Search will be produced by ModestTV. Executive Producer Andrea Hamilton said: “It’s a real privilege to be building a new show around such a successful and loved British band. Creating bands means relationships matter and there’s no one better to share that experience than Little Mix, who are living it right now.”

Well they haven’t been selling too well recently so it is a pay check for them.

They were just announced as the richest ever X Factor winners :ohwell: and they have  earned more the past year than they ever have before! So they seem to be doing pretty well :trollga:

they have a make up line, perfumes, books, etc and have a clothing collection coming out soon. The tour has been doing really well also.

but obviously this is a good extra pay check for them, they are already doing extremely well.
