I have so so many books and spend my whole life savings on them

These are my all time favourites: His dark materials series by phillip pullman, arc of a scythe series by neal shuscterman,  we contain multitudes ( so so good ),  rivers of london by aaronovitch, the book thief by markus zusak, holding up the universe by jennifer niven, burial rites by hannah kent (this is so good), gone girl by gillian flynn and girl on the train by paula hawkins.

I really love Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer.

I read it in high school and it was one of 2 books I was really interested in!

This thread is so cool, here is a lot of interesting recommendations. I also want to recommend to read Educated by Tara Westover. It's a fascinating book. I should read it when I must write an essay on this book for edubirdie writing service, so I've been amazed that this book is so exciting. Actually, while working for https://ca.edubirdie.com/essay-writing-help, I've read a lot of exciting materials and articles. That's why I like my job)

I'm reading this now. The writing and concept are amazing.

This book moved me in many ways and firmly cemented my idealisation of the mountains.

I recommend reading some of Krakauer's other books, particularly "Where Men Win Glory" and "Into the Wild". All his books are great.
