A Hybrid

I’m happy about the recognition they give to indie artists from 200 to 60 or so, after that it’s just hip hop and forgotten pop.

Yeah I guess I’m biased because I love her music but Born This Way not only deserved to be there, but it should have been in the top 25. Not only was it an event, but it had so many amazing moments and the sound was ahead of its time.

Marry the Night, Judas, Government Hooker, Born This Way, Electric Chapel, Heavy Metal Lover, The Edge of Glory, Bloody Mary, You and I, etc etc etc

im being very objective here and the album was a damn masterpiece. Oh well.

Is this the same Pitchfork that fired it’s entire art department back in March? :lolga:

At this point it’s difficult to determine when Pitchfork ends and Beyonce’s ass begins :what:

All 3 of those Beyoncé albums deserved. The order is wrong but that’s fine.

Even though I love the album, I think people forget how mixed the reception to BTW was outside of the fan base. Even within the fan base the reception was more split than her other two records. It’s a masterpiece, and one of my favourites of all time, but critics either ****ing loved the album or were anything but fans of it.

To be fair it's a 2009 release so we should be glad they made the exception to include.

Loved the write up too.
