Thomas P 18,377 Posted September 9, 2019 Share Posted September 9, 2019 1. 2017 (mainly just because of Melodrama, but I also loved Rep, Damn and Rainbow) 2. 2016 (Lemonade dominated the year thank god, but also DW, Joanne, Anti,etc.) 3. 2019 (Ariana, Taylor, Lana, Billie, Beyoncé (kinda), Lizzo, Carly, etc. just absolutely killing it all around) 4. 2011 (obviously cause of just how much quality was thriving. This one would be higher but I was only 10, so the memory of this year is more of a child’s perspective on it rather than a music listener with a real understanding of just how important it was) 5. 2013 (Pure Heroine, Beyoncé, the remainder of Taylor thriving with Red, ARTPOP (though not as much), etc.) I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill. Gaga in her TFM era, rihanna with loud, katy teenage dream, kesha was making complete bangers and all the bops that dropped this year The 2007-2012 era was the golden age of pop music and pop culture.
