Probably conflicts between labels... at that point Jax was still relatively unknown and he just got signed, and Selena was probably recording Revival. Even though they both loved the song, neither parties could come to an agreement    Kind of like Kendrick & Gaga with B Dont Kill My Vibe or Partynauseous.
