If you say this you clearly don't have any idea what a real monopoly looks like. Disney is one of the major studios with the fewer number of movies released per year, compared to others like Universal and Paramount. It's not their fault they're so succesful they make up for 40% of the total box office earnings in any year. And also, Disney has competition, and a fierce one at that. Comcast, another conglomerate, has Universal. Viacom/CBS has Paramount. Plus other independent studios like A24 who are finding their niche and being really succesful nowadays. No way Disney is a monopoly. If you want to call some company a monopoly, you'll have to look at AT&T for example (which now also owns Warner Bros, another Disney competitor, and has absolutely ZERO competition in some parts of the US) A little clue: AT&T, the parent company of Warner Bros., is like double the size of Disney. The same goes for other companies who are really really a monopoly, unlike Disney. So stop repeating what everyone is saying, please.
