She wrote all her songs but sometimes she has 1-2 co-writers on some songs (usually the producer telling her to tweak a few words)  whereas Speak Now is written only by her from top to bottom. So you can imagine how personal it is. Fans from the secret sessions have said lyrically Lover is similar to Speak Now, saying there are few completely self-written songs such as the title track. I think Lover will be her most personal album but there's no denying it used to be Speak Now. Although her best album is 1989 in my opinion. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
