insight 2,425
On a side note, she mentioned that HC wasn't energetic! What? I can't with this girl.
bxr 1,016
Kind of wonder if she knows it’s a gapless album … and/or the structural differences between Disco (which it is, for the sake of reference) and “EDM” (how AJayll references it) from a temporal POV (how the time lapse / tempo feels … Disco feels quantum cohesion, time dissolve; EDM feels condensed sequential like a series of tidal waves, or avalanches … but like “Perceptual Art,” idk if this analogy makes any sense). The early reactions brought back heavy nostalgia tbh, from people's first spins in ‘05. But … the Isaac slight (y, ikes) — so, lyrically speaking: Jump’s got depth, but Isaac is sub-par in comparison … (No shade to Jump, just … objectively, let’s be objective.) I think her adrenaline tapped out around “How High,” it’s a lot happening if you’re new … Push goes in, and again, the album is like gapless disco at its soul so it’s not meant to be amplified across the board, it’s a journey … (not to be melodramatic). Either way, it was an entertaining trip down memory lane … and, Future Lovers brought back The Confessions Tour flashbacks: hard; whew.
Queen Bitch 10,513
I hate that she calls it EDM.
Saeed 1,937
I was slightly nervous because I thought she wouldn't like the album. I'm glad with the results.
