I think it means what the other users said but it could also be in reference to how at the time her old team were starting to treat her like an animal, wanting her to be pretty so the paint your face part could be about her applying makeup to look pretty and attractive and sexualised.

This one threw me too, because syrup always seems artificial but the otherwise sentiment is like genuine ride or die … but, then, it seemed like rainbow syrup is like a candy confection fuel that a unicorn heart would bleed? basically, a hybrid metaphor of these two sentiments:
