Caprice 57 Posted August 8, 2019 Share Posted August 8, 2019 She doesn't take long to put music out at all. She's very trendy. Gaga without humor is a tragedy. Her acting is cringy and anyone who believes she deserves an oscar for it is beyond delusional. She doesn't have a strong identity at all and her inability to be authentic made the joanne era borderline unbearable. She absolutely needed to distance herself from the fans and social media and I'm very happy she seems to take her (mental) health seriously. That being said I'm dissapointed with how she never talks about it and omits her share in creating this codependence with her fans. Her 'be kind' message is empty and her intentions seem rather selfish at times as if she's trying to say "please don't be mean to me" but is scared to call out her fans even when they are very out of line. She's a rock star and she's at her best when she taps into that energy. Also Applause, DWUW and Gypsy are all boring and forgettable. I would even listen to TEOG over them. Joanne is her most underrated album. The Fame is her worst album, but still really enjoyable and far better than most of artists today. ARTPOP and BTW are her messiest albums, but still, far from being bad. Do What U Want is one of her best songs, just take out the trash R. Kelly Judas is one of her best songs, along with Bad Romance and Diamond Heart. CTC is needed and wanted. Not an unpopular opinion but... Lady Gaga's voice is better as of now than in her previous eras (TF, TFM, BTW, ARTPOP). TFM is by far her best album and no other album can come close to it. Joanne is actually a good album but overrated by fans. Joanne is one of the best career moves she ever did. Haus Labs is basic.
