Still, he sees her. We’ve already been introduced to a different Ally, scraping by at a bum catering gig, not doing much with her life, but already in possession of such a voice that even one tossed-off line — in a dirty alley, of all places — is enough to prove her imminent greatness. We’ve seen her and we know what’s to come. The trick, of course, is that Lady Gaga — a global superstar, a musical icon, and the winner of nine Grammys — has to convince everyone that such greatness is indeed imminent, it’s not already present. That Gaga slips so deeply inside her role of Ally, a role that plays on our expectations that we are watching a hugely accomplished singer struggle in the industry, is an astounding feat. There’s no point in Cooper’s film in which Gaga’s authenticity isn’t profound and complete, from the moment she’s first forced out on stage to sing “Shallow” to the closing moments when she willing approaches a very different mic to belt out “I’ll Never Love Again.” Even moments that seem ripe for over-the-top emotions and an amateur approach, like Gaga’s Ally destroying a hallway or sobbing on a couch, are treated with a fine touch. The emotion never wavers, there’s never a false note. Love it when you call me legs In the morning, buy me eggs

I'm not saying it deserves to be up in these lists but it's one of the most acclaimed animated movies ever for a reason.

G U C C I 5,128
How they gonna leave off Bradley! Jackson Maine is iconic She really was amazing in ASIB! It makes me so excited to see her next acting performance. I think she could end up being a multiple academy nominated actress and possibly win if given a great role.
