I say this a pretty far left WOC of thoâthe reaction was exactly why celebs usually stay away from trying to do anything more than surface politics because people started acting like Gaga wanted a cookie, was trying to hone in on a space she didn't belong, or was trying to play white savior for speaking out on police brutality. Granted, wealthy white ladies are always going to make a misstep or two but nothing Gaga said in that case deserved that sort of "oh, you think you are a white savior" response.
