Bey ... wasn't very good. I liked everyone else though. 

 I actually liked the movie even if it is a carbon copy of the original. Same dialogue, same music, even some of the same scenes shot-to-shot. 

Nostalgia sells, and i bought into it.

The last time nostalgia worked on me was The Force Awakens. I just saw it on TV recently and thought "wow this is bad!!".

The trailers made it look absolutely bland and terrible imo but the movie itself was really good. 

The only thing I didn’t like was Donald’s casting as adult Simba. Something about his voice just didn’t feel “mature”. It made it hard to take him seriously during his standoff with Scar. 

Also, be prepared could’ve been left out. It was an utter embarrassment.

I wouldn’t mind a remake of the lion king 1 & 1/2 though. Timon and pumba were my favorite part of this whole film. Billy and Seth absolutely killed those roles.

It suffers from the same problem as Aladdin - the villain, the changes are horrible.

New Jafar is too young and hot and new Scar is too old and cry baby, the contrary of the original..

The "gift" scene before the mess was so lame and awkward, the new dialogue is so dumb..

It's like the live action creators thinks that the young generation is not smart enough or something
