The biggest selling dance/electronic album so far in 2019 is an effort that is more than 10 years old: Lady Gaga’s The Fame. Released in 2008, the album sold 19,000 copies between Jan. 4 and June 20 of this year.

What an achievement  I feel like this will happen quite a few times

I can already picture it

10 years from now, Gaga has won an Oscar for a role in her 4th feature film and her 1st, 2nd and 7th albums are the most sold of the year, and her 9th is the most preordered for the year  I see a great future for our Lady

Demon Days is 4th and like 14 years old and Discovery is 5th and 18 years old.  Is no one putting out electronic albums? I mean, its a slay for Gaga, Gorillaz, and Daft Punk but really?

people who listen to electronic music listen to mixes not albums. And on the off chance they are listening to albums, they're probably just streaming them.
