Yeah. He said famously said, "I've got relatives who look like Bernie Mac, and I've got relatives who look like Margaret Thatcher."

His biological Father was from Kenya, his Step-Father was Indonesian, and his Mother was white. We went from having a President who grew up in the most diverse family possible, to a President who's Father marched with the Klan. The pendulum swung hard.

They really want to say “she’s too dark” for the role. It’s why Zendaya kept being brought up. A light skinned black girl would have been “dark enough” for them not to care about Ariel’s race.
