But just to make sure anyone reading this is confused: Gender is a social construct based off nothing. Race has, or is supposed to have, scientific reasoning, and is based off of phenotypes and other physical qualities that developed over thousands of years. That’s why “mixed” race is a thing. If you’re mixed- your not a brand new race. You’re mixed. Your native, white, black, etc. dna can still be traced genetically. If that person I was quoting was to take a dna test, they would not come back with “100% Latino”. That’s the truth, whether they want to believe it or not isn’t my problem.
