It's 100% true. I know someone working on this and they sent me a speculative cast list about a month ago. Halle, Melissa and Harry were each on there. Melissa and Harry were not confirmed at that point, though.

Also, Ursula was inspired  by a drag queen. She herself isn't a drag queen, so it doesn't make sense to say that it was "written and intended for a drag queen anyway".

If people get heated at a cis white woman playing the drag-inspired grey octo-witch after an entire other group of people got mad at a black woman being cast as the half light-skinned ginger, half fish-girl I SWEAR. Let them cast on who can play the characters best, not who's this color or that color.

Melissa would be a great choice imo. Still pulling for Gaga though even though it won't happen

Second Hailey Baily is really no one that they need to call Harry Stiles to attrack all the teenage girls ! xD

Well I am disappointed and will not see the movie. Harry styles? Really? Boo. Eye roll. Henry deserved it way more. He even looks more like Eric than harry does.
