so in one of the shade names , a shade is called SLAYER ,

and in the tutorial she said that SLAYER refers to that u always slay .

But on the  other hand , there is a thrash metal band called SLAYER .

and Gaga has HAUS OF METALHEAD

so the question is

Did Gaga avoid using the real meaning behind SLAYER to avoid copyright issues? or am I being a delulu?

I am having my ARTPOP moment

RAMROD

Slayer also iconic anime brand. So, she probably can always do that. Don't think Slayer can be copyrighted since it is common name, but who knows

You can’t copyright Slayer when it’s in fairytales, slayer of demons etc

but it could be another meaning behind it

She probably just used it because Slay is a cool word. And it's an anime and metal brand.

But yes, you're delulu.

Very few things are megacopyrighted to where you can't use it. Not to mention not everyone knows metal. And like Rammy said, it's an anime as well.

Unless you mean she didn't mention the band because she didn't wanna be sued. Then maybe, yes. But it's safer not to mention people who have absolutely nothing to do with a product than mentioning them.

I always thought she was a Slayer fan

Slayer-Logo.jpg because she wore the fanmade Stefani shirt, inspired by the band's logo

She knows the guys in slayer I think, she would just call them for agreement. If they said no she wouldn't use the name.

I thought of that too bitch :lmao:

But I think she just didn't want to say it on Amazon, 'cause you know... that whole telemarketing thing is very conservative :emma: Plus, I don't think the band actually inspired the product. The explanation she gave for it actually made more sense.

But my inner metalhead jumped up too :laughga:
