Amazing achievement. Shallow has now spent 41 weeks in the Hot 100, and surpasses Poker Face as her 2nd longest running song ever in the US.

01 Just Dance - 49 weeks

02 Shallow - 41 weeks

03 Poker Face - 40 weeks

Lady Gaga is also the only female artist with Taylor Swift to have 3 songs with 40 weeks+ in the Hot 100 in HISTORY.

I mean... :air:

I'm still kind of not accepting this TRIUMPH has occurred after we'd almost written her off :lmao: Who the **** saw this coming. I don't even get who's still buying the song at this point :rip:

An effortless slay :oprah:

its a new BB rule that whenever a song thats charted for 20+ weeks must remain above Top 50 or else it'll fall off the charts

Wait a minute, back in 2009, was the billboard rule in play?

like, did Poker Face and Just Dance stay top 50 the whole time, or did the rule not exist and they stayed somewhere around the 50-100 area?

If the rule didn’t exist, then how does this compare now? Like, wouldn’t it make Shallow so much more stronger than Just Dance?

It wasn't in place back then :/

There's a chart somewhere with all the placements of all her songs, but I can't find it now. I think Billboard didn't bother to deduct the weeks that it wasn't top 50

I like dancin', and ponies....
