Babymetal are japanese not korean   she had Crayon Pop open a few dates tho.

I used to be biiiig into kpop but just the music quality has gone down rapidly and now I'm only interested in a couple of groups or will check something out if someone sends it to me. But HATING it is a bit exaggerated no? like just ignore it...

Kpop is like the most inoffensive genre ever  I get how a lot of people don't like it, but I don't think there even is anything distinctive enough about it that is worth hating. The majority of it is just cheesy high energy pop. It mostly just exists to make you feel happy and I think it does a good job at that. Obviously it's not the most groundbreaking or artistic music out there, but I think it fulfills it's purpose and is fun to listen to

Most music from that era is really commercial and inauthentic. People just praise it now cause it makes them feel nostalgic.

There is no much difference from kpop and normal pop, it's just sang in a different language, maybe that's your problem with it.

It's EDM music. Empty, Generic, Bad singers, Overproduced, The only reason why this music is successful is because the Kpop "artists" look like ken dolls.

Im always listen diffirent language but How could you say they commercial Almost all the quality and original songs were all made at that time, and the songs made only now reflect the old songs. Even Gaga use sapmels from them.

Well it's not my favorite thing ever but some of those groups are very talented. Though that's the result of being held like slaves and practically tortured to ensure perfection. I'd feel less disliking towards it if there was more humanity shown to them. Anyways, it's very easy to see that these kpop stans would do anything for their idols and will obviously ignore the physical and mental health of their idols just to get more material and performances. Some US musicians/labels seem to do the same just because they know these teen girls will listen to anything that spawns out of the groups (Kpop features: Nicki, charli, Ava, etc)
