Shallow is her longest top 10 single in Canada too (28 weeks) the longest ever for a female

This single really slayed!

Edit: oh digital singles chart :madge:

The Canada 28 weeks in top 10 was in the hot 100 :vegas:

Streaming is considered a separate chart from the "Top Singles" which accounts for sales only. It's pure sales, compared to SPS if you want; but it's still the one that is recognized.

I'm pretty sure that these are the official combined charts. If you think something else then you're literally arguing against SNEP (Syndicat National de l’édition Phonographique) which is basically the organisation that makes the charts in France :selena:

Megafusion is an official chart but it's never used.

When TV and radio refer to the charts they are never talking about megafusion

It's still official. Definitely more official than acharts.com. You can also use this website but they only collect chartdata they don't make charts.

I wanted to be the one to burst your bubble and say this is only the digital chart, but someone already did it.

28 weeks. The longest for any female-led song ever.

Show me the receipts :lana:

It was the most talked about song before even the trailer was out, because they were comparing it to Whitney and IWALY, but it was never supposed to be the lead :lana:

It peaked #1 and so did ARUTW on the top single

That Megafusion chart is an official chart but isn't the reference in France

I don't get your comment at all :laughga:

SNEP also gives the "digital chart" as you call it (it's physical+digital sales) :http://www.snepmusique.com/tops-semaine/top-singles-telecharges/

Shallow peaked at #3

http://www.snepmusique.com/tops-semaine/top-singles-megafusion/?ye=2019&we=09

This is the official one. That is why its called "Top Singles (téléchargement + streaming)"

And when you click which chart you want to see, and if you click on Top Singles, it will direct you to this chart, not the digital one.

Yeah the SNEP is trying to push it but the french media is still using the other one as a reference

So at the end of the day the megafusion chart is still not relevant in the public eyes and everyone may havd heard "Shallow is #1 this week"
