simbiosis 411
Just came across this video on twitter, and thought I would share it. This is taken from a 1991 interview with Good Morning America at the time of the release of Truth and Dare -- from a time when LGBTQ people had no rights whatever; when homophobia was widespread; when people were dying by the thousands from an epidemic and no one cared, not even the government; when being beaten and sometimes even killed for being gay was accepted as something normal -- and this woman was speaking up for us all, for our rights and for our survival. This is the reason why I will never stop loving her. If anyone is interested, the full interview is below. The interviewer is a perfect reflection of the times, and she fiercely stands up against him.
