Apple Music- Is Joanne Quieter than the Rest of your Music?

I’ve noticed this for a while but on apple music the whole album Joanne is about 1/4 quieter than the rest of my music? Even the rest of Gaga’s music; it’s about 1/4 quieter than anything else I have on there.

I think I remember hearing this three years ago, and we settled that it was just the way it was mixed? 

But I agree, this was something I noticed back when “Perfect Illusion” first came out, and I thought it was quiet for a rock song.

it’s just mixed less loud than music in general, which is annoying.

Yes, I definitely have to turn it up louder compared to other albums. From a sound-engineer perspective, they probably chose to do this to preserve the finer details in the music. If music is mastered quiet, then that means there are details they are trying to emphasize

by the way you can make the album sound louder with iTunes. Right click on it and go into info about the album and u can make it louder
