Difference between daily streams of shallow and other hits on spotify WW chart:

Shallow and NRO: 363k

Shallow and Sucker: 245k

Shallow and 7 rings: 154k

Shallow and Old Town Road: 23k

i expect shallow to pass all of them by end of august, i would add you need to calm down to the list too but album release may bump its streams

- Chandelier [872M]
- Work From Home [933M]
- Work [890M]
- Hello [930M]
- I Like It [872M]
- It Ain't Me [870M]
- One Kiss [828M]
- Taki Taki [790M]
- I Don't Wanna Live Forever [880M]

These wont do it before Shallow

Let's check out the monthly average for each song - keep in mind these songs stabilised on Spotify since they are old, meanwhile Shallow is still "new" so it's monthly average is decreasing with every new month.

- Chandelier : 16M monthly streams ~960M by the end of the year
- Work From Home : 12M monthly streams ~1B by the end of the year
- Work : 10M monthly streams ~945M by the end of the year
- Hello : 13M monthly streams  ~1B by the end of the year
- I Like It : 36m monthly streams ~1.068B by the end of the year
- It Ain't Me : 14M monthly streams ~947M by the end of the year
- One Kiss : 31M monthly streams ~998M by the end of the year
- Taki Taki : 42M monthly streams ~1.020B by the end of the year
- I Don't Wanna Live Forever : 18M monthly streams ~979M by the end of the year

So if I was you, I wouldn't be so confident Shallow is getting there before all these songs.

Could you gove a reason for that too? :poot:

First of all, the team behind it's a recognized one. Good cast, you're still not believing in Taylor's power.

Even tho, it's kind weird and scary, it's appealing, first because it's based on one of the most popular musicals and it will, imo, do better than some musical adaptations. Critically? Besides the soundtrack it will do just like The Greatest Showman.

I'm not hyped, I'm not even a fan but I kinda want to watch it because it looks trashy and who doesn't want to get traumatized after visiting the movies?

These two will still go down. I don't see the mreaching the billion. All of these will be one billbion after one quarter of next year though.

Hopefully the ASIB soundtrack will become the type of album that stays forever on the chart

But That's entirely my reasoning to see the movie :poot:

I don't think the general moviegoing audience will appreciate the movie on that terms though.

Phantom (2004) wasn't a huge box office success despite being a bigger event and probably also being a better movie.

Sheerans new album debuted at #2 behind another local german act on the Album 100. It also seemed to have barely any impact on the singles charts.

Not a good sign for that cycle :koons:

The whole movie was a mess :selena:

It's just that I think it will end up being more successful than Cats because nowadays we have the internet which can make movies flop overnight.
