Five No. 1s This Decade: Lover grants Swift her fifth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 this decade (2010-present). In turn, she ties Lady Gaga for the most No. 1s this decade among women. (Drake has the most No. 1s this decade among all acts, with nine.)

mhhhhh did this happen already? Someone winning a GRAMMY for a single eligible the last year and then the next year for the album or another song eligible the next year?

U2

2001:
"Beautiful Day" - SOTY, ROTY, Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal

2002:
"All That You Can't Leave Behind" - Best Rock Album
"Elevation" - Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal
"Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of" - Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals
"Walk On" - ROTY

They were the first artist to win consecutive ROTYs for tracks from the same album.

Gaga was nominated for Just Dance in 2009 and then for PF and The Fame in 2010 and won

Never understood why tho since Just Dance, Poker Face and The Fame were all released during the 2009 Grammy eligibility period. Guess they’re way too commercially driven :ohwell:

Poker Face & The Fame were released in the United States in the 2010 Grammy elligibility period.

The Fame - October 2008
Poker Face - January 2009

The US release date is the determining factor, not the overall WW one.

Spotify Monthly Update

- The Cure - 270,412,917 (+3,081,160) (169,136 less than last month)
- Million Reasons - 369,969,800 (+8,814,118) (744,072 less than last month)
- Shallow - 823,489,063 (+44,459,556) (3,850,875 less than last month)

*Shallow is stabilising more and more, 3,850,875 less in August compared to 6,956,260 in July and to 13,217,271 in June.

Bonus:

Spoiler

- CTTR - 399,766,986 (+3,478,095) (103,286 less than last month)

As of today, Million Reasons will surpass CTTR in less than 6 months, but as you see, MR is dropping harder monthly than CTTR, so it's gonna take a bit longer, so maybe in ~ 7 months.

Gaga better release LG6 this year so she can secure that 6th #1 album this decade and get the #1 spot this decade to herself.

Not sure about winning but Taylor use to do this all the time. Lead single eligible for the following  year and then the rest of the singles and album after the next year.

Does it matter? Damage is done

Arizona Sky

Sunflower is still Top 10 on US Spotify+YouTube almost 11 months after its release. It's likely it'll re-enter the BB100 Top 10 next week and tie the record for the longest running Top 10 ever (33 weeks).
