Listen to all the city things but you HAVE to visit the Grand Canyon and Hoover dam.

The Grand Canyon was breath taking when I visited LV!

Zombie Burlesque at V theatre and La Reve at Wynn are good shows. Booths sell discount tickets.

Downtown has older casinos which have a little cheaper gambling. Lots of street performers downtown, which inspires more loitering. Use the express bus to go between the strip and downtown.

There are so many food options. Buffets are popular. The m&m store with the chocolate statue of liberty is in the New York casino, along with a big selection of restaurants. Finding food will not be a problem. Use Yelp if you must.

Hey everyone,

I'm planning to go to Las Vegas this summer for her residency show. Thing is, I'm from out of country (Canada), and will be in Las Vegas for a few days. I have lots of free time aside from the concert, and I was wondering what I can do in Las Vegas other than seeing the casinos? Any good restaurants to go to?

Bonus: what's a decent amount of money to bring for the merchandise and souvenirs and the occasional take out? $200 USD minimal?

Thanks! :D

If you like amusement park rides, I’d go to the New York New York hotel where u can ride this really cool roller coaster that gives u an epic view of the entire strip. There’s also an amusement park inside the Circus Circus with epic roller coasters and other rides. Finally, I’d go to the stratosphere where u can ride rides that essentially throw you off a building or twist u around off the side of the building.

A lot of cool rides in Las Vegas, I’d also recommend the aquarium at Mandalay Bay. It was really cool.

Do the Titanic museum at the Luxor Hotel! It's worth the money and if you're into that kind of museum scene it's really neat :)

We're going to Vegas for the first time in November for 7 nights and so far our non-Gaga itinerary includes a horse trail ride out to Red Rock Canyon, the stingray feed at the aquarium at Mandalay Bay and maybe the Titanic exhibition at the Luxor although we've both done it... we both just really like the history and atmosphere.

Food-wise our list consists of: Bellagio buffet, In-N-Out (yeah, I know, but I only get to eat it once every few years), Grand Lux Café, Gordon Ramsay TBD (which do y'all recommend?), Eataly, La La Noodle though it's very likely to change. It's one of the few times my friend and I get to hang out so we'll probably also just be enjoying some downtime by the pool with cocktails.

I ate a couple of times at the NoMad bar in the Park MGM, it's pricey but the service is fantastic and the food was good. Eataly is super fun. The other meals we had on the strip weren't very great and everything was expensive.:spin:

Top of my list for next time (if she adds more dates) is Best Friend, which is also in the Park MGM.

Hunger games exhibit!

Oh, man. I didn't know that was in Vegas now. I saw it when it was in Sydney and it was so good. Definitely second the recommendation!
