I mean, the fact that Max Martin is still around blows my mind. He's been pumpin out the hits since FOREVER... Can you imagine a hit producer from the 1970's disco/pop still being a superstar producer in the mid/late 1990s? It's crazy and really speaks to the staid boundaries for mainstream pop music. 

My thoughts exactly. He's like a monopoly on mainstream pop, and because he's been so successful, other artists end up emulating his writing style and everything ends up sounding the same
