I love how successful Alejandro was in Europe :diane:

It did okay in the US but its euro-synth pop seemed to resonate across the pond.  Wish I had experience its success over there. Hardly ever hear it on the radio in the US.  :noparty:

Bad luck.

Shallow could have been #1, but there was this monster hit "Soldi" that blocked it.

Everytime she faced off with monster local hits thay blocked her.

Actually she always had no fortune at all :huntyga:

Poker Face was blocked by Domani, a charity song #1 for 12 weeks

Telephone was blocked by Calore, from the winner of a very popular talent show

Alejandro was blocked by Waka Waka (#1 for 16 weeks!)

Born This Way was blocked by a very popular Italian rockstar

The Edge Of Glory was blocked by Mr.Saxobeat (#1 for 4 weeks, but in top 2 for 11 weeks)

Applause was blocked by Wake Me Up (#1 for 12 weeks)

Shallow was blocked the first time by Torna A Casa (#1 for 6 weeks) and by Soldi (#1 for 6 weeks)

That song was (un)fortunately a hit here, and I have to say that some parts of the lyrics is very deep and far from the shallow :ally:

Like this part:

Oh, yeah, mmm yeah, mmm yeah, mmm yeah
Oh, yeah, mmm yeah, mmm yeah, mmm yeah
Oh, yeah, mmm yeah, mmm yeah, mmm yeah
Oh, yeah, mmm yeah, mmm yeah, mmm yeah

:ladyhaha:

Spoiler

Mr. Saxobeat was #1 even in Germany :nooo:
