THIS IS WHY THANK YOU, like it's fine if you want a certain sound for the album, but DO NOT make that into a "if she does this sound or style that is not what I want then its absolute ****" type of bias that will prevent you from even forming an opinion based on the actual material. Besides almost every goddamn album has had a ballad,so what is the issue here? Wait until the album/single is released and then actually give your criticisms.
