I do know that the only artists who used this aesthetic before were Christian artists. A lot of them, at one point anyway, tended to write the name of their band in lower case and make it all one word, but that could be a reference to how they won't capitalise any name that isn't God's. I don't know what the reasoning is behind anyone else doing it. Makes it stand out, I guess, but my grammar sense goes off its nut every time I see it and I insist on writing it properly whenever I refer to it online.
