shame 25,360
It seems like more and more artists are getting into this kind of minimalist, low-key aesthetic for their albums and single titles... it started with Ariana and seemed to have been picked up by billie as well as troye and more recently Paparazzi singer Greyson Chance So what do y'all think about this ongoing trend? are some of y'all tired of it yet? is this the era of no grammar? angels forever, forever angels

Guest
Billie's been doing it since before Ariana actually! I think it works in some contexts. For example, Billie's EP 'don't smile at me' fits very well with that aesthetic (in my opinion) as it is a chill, low-key project meant to convey a lot of teenage emotions, which works well with lowercase titles. Things like Sweetener though... I'm not so sure. I can see Sweetener and TUN with upper-case titles but not Billie's if that makes sense.
