Aged Well: The Edge of Glory

Aged Poorly: G.U.Y.

G.U.Y was already outdated when it was released in November 2013. :selena:

The question was about songs+aging. Not about the quality or how trademark it sounds. Aging=a song that could fit into playlists even today and hook people. No. As much as I consider it one of the best songs ever released, it wouldn't qualify as a hit if it was released in 2019

But hey. Everybody can have his/her opinion without bashing the others!

''Aging'' also has a bit of a negative meaning to it, see the replies here.

In fact people use this termen for: 1) songs that don't feel actual/ current/ fresh by today standards 2) songs that they replayed too much 3) songs that they don't like so everytime a thread like this appears it leads to confusion. :poot:

In all honesty I still listen to most of The Fame album and it’s still very current. The only song I can think of that is outdated is Born This Way as it sounded dated when it was released

yeah...because she popularized it.

they didnt have the same 80's influence like gagas though

No, dude. Gaga didn’t become popular on the charts until the end of 2008. There were plenty of electropop songs that became hits months before hers did. Heck, there were hit songs in 2007, like Timbaland’s “The Way I Are” and “Give It to Me”. Gaga didn’t start the trend, she just jumped on board early.
