JustHMLover 1,635 Posted March 14, 2019 Share Posted March 14, 2019 Khalid dances in a colorful room in his new video for "Talk," the lead single from his upcoming and highly anticipated sophomore album Free Spirit. The vibrant minimal scheme of the colorful visual is just as fun to watch as the song is to listen to. Throughout the video, Khalid claps on beat and sways to the ballad inside a color-changing geometric space while going back and forth between sitting on a car and grooving in between different color blocks. The R&B-tinged song, produced by Disclosure, matches its high-energy visuals and vibrant backdrops. The changing colors and overall boxy layout are reminiscent of Drake's hypnotic "Hotline Bling" music video that came out in 2015. Both Khalid and Drake utilize a crew of other dancers who are singing and dancing along to the music. Khalid recently performed "Talk" on Saturday Night Live, along with âBetterâ from his 2018 Suncity EP. Free Spirit, which follows his acclaimed 2017 debut LP, American Teen, is set to drop on April 5.
