They never really knew it then

How to do it when

It really reminds me of old Lizzy Grant/pre-Lana stuff. I wonder if she was inspired by that. What era is the leak originally from? 2009ish?

It's pretty vague. It may be inspired a particular situation, like most Gaga songs, but it can be simply a description of something imaginary. But I believe the lyrics are there to evoke this creepy, dark feeling of the song rather than share a story. We don't know and most probably will never know.

I think 2006 - 2008. It's before The Fame for sure.

It could be many things. The closest for me would be a fetish like BDSM where there are safety words if it's too much. And that she describes as the "safety of the trigger" as there's always a way out of such a situation.

Interesting she reused 'she's just baby' in Alejandro. I think it's about whatever the opening of Marry The Night is about.

I think she was raped in the marry the night opening.

The first thing that came to my mind was abortion, and I saw other people thinking this.

I disagree with people that say this demo was from before The Fame for sure, there's no reason to think that it is.

Well it was registered in 2010 and was produced by Rob Fusari

This song is so interesting to me. It's one of my favorites of her unreleased work, but it gives me a dark, uncomfortable feeling when I listen to it. I used to think it was about sexual assault, but now I'm not sure as it was produced and co-written by Rob Fusari (who many of us believe to be her assailant). I have a hard time imagining him helping her write a song about him assaulting her (if in fact it was him) .
