I was just curious if Gaga had sampled more songs that we didn’t notice.

Here are the ones I know:

Poker Face  > Ma Baker by Boney. M (1977)

Bad Romance > Balla Nation by DJ Dean (2000)

Alejandro > Csárdás by Vittorio Monti (1904)

Judas > 12 128 BPM Root by Manual Schleis and Alex Butcher (2010)

Yoü and I > We Will Rock You by Queen (1977)

Bad Kids > They Don’t Care About Us by Michael Jackson (1995)

Electric Chapel > We All Share the Same Sun by Heideroosjes (2004)

Venus > Rocket #9 by Zombie Zombie (2012)

The Cure > Hush, Little Baby (Nursey Rhyme) (1939)

Born This Way > Vertigo Prelude and Rooftop by Bernard Herrmann (1958)

EDIT: for BTW it’s was used for the Intro of the music video.

Hush, now baby don’t you cry

this is an interpolation as most but I don't think it's anything

The Cure doesn't have any official samples as far as I know.

Rub your feet, your hands, your legs
Let me take care of it, babe
Close your eyes, I'll sing your favorite song
I wrote you this lullaby
Hush now baby, don't you cry
Anything you want could not be wrong

Well I'm pretty song most of the songs out there have songs that share their melody with them. But a ''sample'' needs to be credited and the artist should buy their rights to use it in their song.

Some of these are a bit of a stretch tbh :deadbanana: having similarities between songs doesn't been they're sampled i.e. Poker Face and "Ma Baker". She didn't sample that, it's just a similarity.

Electric Chapel sample is the most shocking to me :messga: they built the whole song around the guitar sample

but still slays

She has good samples. This girl knows how to make good music. She has good ears for the samples

The melody in Electric Chapel is so much better though. Queen of taking samples from unknown forgotten songs and improving them to create whole new songs!
