If Ariana pulled 7 Rings for a day or two. It would be number 2 on the hot 100 and her new song would debut at number one, this would tie her for most . Should she do such a dirty trick? Katy, Rihanna, Taylor, JB and Drake (in chronological order) all did that. US charts take their sweet time with these things. She can totally do it, particularly if she releases another remix. If you've already got your first 2 singles at #1, you're onto a good thing and could easily get another #1, so it's all about patience. But be prepared for her not to get another #1 this era, however. Those other artists I quoted, apart from Katy, could not achieve more than 3 #1's from their albums. After Katy's mammoth Teenage Dream success (5 #1's and 1 top ten, not including the re-release), the closest an artist has ever come to that feat is 3 #1's and 2 top tens, and they're the names I gave you.
