Blackout is not that good musically. I understand why stans overhype it - Britney was going through her rebellious stage + she was young + she was probably the most popular celebrity in the world (at least, by Google searches and press coverage). With that being said, there are only two remarkable songs - Gimme More and Piece of Me.

Can't imagine Briney releasing this album in 2019.

Well if we asked what Britney really truely wanted, she would probably retire from music. However, the only reason she’s staying is the fans, and this move of working with Danja proves she’s in it for the fans. Same with Glory, which showcased more of her vocal abilities, which was another fan request.

Is she really staying for the fans tho? That Domination announcement plus the Meet and Greet horror stories...make me doubt that.

Well what you’ve mentioned is definitely more of the money-grabbing techniques that her management uses since Britney is still at a novelty level in the industry. But she doesn’t even seem to enjoy herself with things like that. Also, she really doesn’t need to be making albums with unique music if she wanted to just make money. She has a broad enough catalogue
