So I'm going through Billboard's chart and looking at all the female artists who have placed in the Top 10 this decade. I'm adding the weeks spent in the top 10 for each artist (each song will equal one week, so if they have two songs in the top 10 in the same week, it will count as 2). I'm separating the data by year and if it was a lead or feature. I'll then do some math at the end to add up totals. I'm doing it on an excel spreadsheet and it's looking pretty cool. I've made it to mid-2016. So far there have been 56 females to make it to the top 10 as either a lead or feature.
