It's just that music was SO BAD this past year, while ASIB was not just fantastic in terms of quality, but also a massive critical and commercial hit. I mean, The Greatest Showman and/or Black Panther OSTs will likely be nominated within at least one of the three major categories. That should’ve been an easy ASIB sweep. If he goes to those creative extremes for the sake of both generating controversy and dedication to one’s craft, then we can be sure Gaga had an enormous influence on him.
