monsterdino 31,813
"thank u, next" just debuted at #1, it is the first female solo song to top the hot 100 this year along with being the first female song to debut at #1 on Billboard Hot 100 since Adele's "Hello" in 2015! (13th overall)Â Â

Bradley 54,984
Edit: Ok so it's the first to debut atop since 2015's Hello, but it still kinda sucks how we can only get a female song to top the chart in November.

(13th overall) what? I thought you were going to say first in 2018, which is already shocking since it's November already, since 2015? wtf? yeah it is first SOLO FEMALE song to DEBUT #1 since 2015 Â Taylor's LWYMMD debuted #

Nope, the radio tracking week for the Hot 100 is diffrent from the sales tracking week (Monday - Sunday radio, Friday - Thursday sales) and within the three day after its release (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) it accumlated that much airplay, that it debuted a week early (and then shot up to #1 the next week)

Wet Fire 5,687
Great.  Now waiting for her 2nd #1 which hopefully deserves that spot without adding sentimentalism to say she deserves the #1 even though the song clearly does not.
