For me, that was one of the most beautiful shots of Gaga and the context of the heartbreaking image was so powerful that I had to paint it. Gaga’s one of the forces behind my creativity ever since and this film is a triumph for her and us. I’d die if she ever noticed me, but this painting was more of an outlet for my emotions.
