It just goes to prove what you can do without radio. I really think radio is mostly for really young artists/rappers and not for mid career artists anymore except maybe for Pink! and a couple of others. She's proved that she can get the streams which makes up for alot of ground that a radio smash would cover. Radio is a distribution channel and it costs a ton of money. So much so that labels can't promote many artist this way. Gaga has an older demographic now that is keeping her on top. They are not big on radio.
