Arturo 40,746
Wait what? Why are some you mad that it's rated R? Rated R movies don't gross as much as PG-13 movies. That will turn a lot of the general public off, believe it or not
hausofmike 127
i hope both her and interscope can agree with the first single and release the right one.
lilmonstarrr 0
Rated R? Not here for this only if she cared. You're freaking 14. It's for the big guys. It's a film for the more adult fans... not the lil teenagers. BRING IT ON GAGA! SO PUMPED!
Mittens 228
I'd prefer a kick ass rated R movie that makes less, than some ponies and rainbows PG 13 ****. :laughga:

That will turn a lot of the general public off, believe it or not It doesn't really matter. You guys are always just sales, sales, sales. I mean look at KP's movie. It was freaking PG but it flopped. I'd prefer a kick ass rated R movie that makes less, than some ponies and rainbows PG 13 ****. ^THIS.

Cherry 17
Madonna's documentary was rated R and grossed about as much as Katy's PG movie Gaga doesn't appeal to tweens like Katy does.
loljustinwat 1
I'd prefer a kick ass rated R movie that makes less, than some ponies and rainbows PG 13 ****. This is exactly how I feel.

BRING IT ON GAGA! SO PUMPED! Big guys? Yes because Gaga totally favors the "big guys" in her fanbase. This fanbase is just a hierarchy. There are big guys and little guys. /sarcasm All her fans, including me, will make an effort to go watch it. All I'm saying is that its true potential will be limited because of the Rating :coffee:
Lampost 382
Rated R movies don't gross as much as PG-13 movies. That will turn a lot of the general public off, believe it or not I know that but I mean... this isn't Transformers 4, it's not being made by a big hollywood studio. It's a documentary filmed behind the scenes of a tour by a friend of Gaga's. I'm pretty sure it will EASILY make back it's production cost within the first day of it's release. Bamboo 8
I guess.... Kind of silly though, when you compare it something like Saw. I think the Canadian movie ratings are different, anyways. It might be PG-14 here. Saw is R too. And we havent seen the movie so it might even be a s-x tape :teehee:
Tommymonster44 0
I'm sure it's only rated r because Gaga constantly swears and is always naked haha. As for the "not sure" about new music, it probably means that the record label wants it earlier and Gaga wants it later, so they are working out a compromise. I'm not here for a December release. It would make way more sense to move it to late January. For those who don't follow charts, around Christmas season radio stations begin playing Christmas music. Basically every song on pop radio losses massive amounts of airplay. Also, radio stations don't pick up new songs around Christmas time. They just keep playing the same music that they've had since Thanksgiving. Any songs released after Thanksgiving basically stall until January. Obviously, this would negatively impact Gaga's chart performance.
