I wouldn't pay hundreds to thousands of dollars to meet a person no matter how much I like them. Especially for like literally 10 seconds. I'd love to meet a celebrity that I like, but I'd only want to meet them in a situation where they stop to meet me because they appreciate their fans. Not because I'm paying them $2,000! It doesn’t have to do with her income from the shows, the sponsors (MGM, live nation, ticket master, her label, etc) only make contacts with artists that can guarantee a specific amount of profit. They expect $X per show, and having expensive M&G is one way of making sure they meet that goal. This price is also on par with Vegas meet and greets.
